Privacy Policy
Who we are
This website is operated by Tanja Murgel-Subotić, Beverly Hills, California (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal information collected through it. You can reach us through the contact page.
What we collect
When you send an inquiry. Your name, email address, organisation (if you give one), the type of inquiry and your message.
When you visit. Our hosting provider records standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
When you use “Near me” in the store finder. If you allow it, your browser shares your approximate location with the page so it can sort stores by distance. This happens on your device. Your location is not sent to us or stored.
We do not run advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. The site keeps one small note in your browser's session storage so the opening animation plays only once per visit; it is deleted when you close the tab.
Embedded video. The Go Greek page shows a TikTok video behind a cover image. Nothing is loaded from TikTok until you press play; from then on TikTok's player may set cookies and collect data under TikTok's privacy policy.
How we use it
We use inquiry details only to read and answer your inquiry, and to pass it to the right person, for example the Go Greek Yogurt team for franchise, investor or partnership inquiries about the brand.
We use technical information to run, secure and fix the site.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on your consent and on taking steps you have asked for (answering an inquiry), and on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
Other websites
The press index and other pages link to articles, social networks, maps and other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any follow-up, and then delete them, normally within 24 months. Hosting logs are kept by our provider for a short period under its own retention rules.
Where it is processed
Our providers process information in the United States. Where the law requires it, transfers from the EEA or the UK rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, ask us to restrict or stop using it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. California residents also have the right to know what we collect and not to be treated differently for using these rights.
To make a request, use the contact page and mention “privacy request”. We may need to confirm your identity first. In the EEA or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and we limit who can see inquiries. No method of transmission is completely secure, so please don't send sensitive information through the form.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
